Technology taking over the schools

I think this article is an Expository/Informative article. The author is trying to inform the audience that some students are starting to use more technology in their school life. According to Wakefield Research study, "about 70 percent of students use digital devices like smartphones, laptops, and tablets to take notes." I agree with the eliminating the "dog ate my homework" issue with the use of more technology students will be able to turn in homework from anywhere at anytime. This also has bad sides to it. Like when these electronics start to lose power. Then what happens when you can't recharge them? Students still need to know the basics. This is just like the media center at our school. the media center was once a boring library with no tech stuff. Now that they have redesigned the media center we have access to ipads and computers for our school work.
